Marco Attene |
Marco Attene received a Laurea degree in Computer Science from the University of Genoa in July 1998. The final thesis, " Modeling Virtual Environments for Underwater Vehicles Control ", concerned the development of a user-friendly graphical tool for the creation of multi-resolution virtual environments which can be represented by VRML files. After the Laurea he was tutor of "Systems for Computing and Transmitting Information" at CEPU private schools. Then he worked at the Civis observatory of the municipality of Genoa as GIS administrator and CAD-based video designer. In 1999 he began the collaboration with the IMA-CNR where he is currently working as a member of the Computer Graphics Group. He is studying for a Ph.D degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering and his main research interests are related to discrete geometric modeling, mesh analysis and re-meshing techniques. |
